'We wanna be the first band on the moon' states guitarist-vocalist and John Lennon Songwriting contest finalist T.C. Coleman. ANTHEM is described as "The Rock Revolution" by the contemporary Rock press including Zero magazine and the East Bay Express. ANTHEM consists of English-Irishman T.C. Coleman on lead guitar-and vocals; Santa Cruz born Daniel Bailley on bass and vocals; and hawaiin native Doug "Nub" English on the drums.
Thousands who have witnessed the ANTHEM spectacle often compare them to Lenny Kravitz, The White Stripes, Hendrix, Wolfmother, Radiohead,, Nirvana all rolled into one as well as a contemporary Zeppelin meets the Beatles. They've shared the stage with over fifteen national acts including Dishwalla,, Avril Lavign, The Calling, Gin, Blossoms, Remy Zero, Collective Soul, Hootie and The Blowfish, Hawthorne Heights, Country Joe and The Fish, Angie Aparo and the Drowning Pool to name a few. The band has played over four hundred professional shows at such notable venues such as the Arco Arena, B.B. Kings in Hollywood, Stockton Arena, On the steps of the State Capitol, Magic Mountain, Stockton Ports Stadium, Whiskey a Go-Go, John Thurman Field and the Knitting Factory and have played to thousands live and over the radio. They have also been nominated and have won several awards and battle of the band contests nation wide.

The band's latest full length release was produced by Michael Klooster - keyboardist from the rock band Smash Mouth.
